As before, there are four trim levels named - in ascending order - Authentique, Expression, Dynamique and Privilège. The range of engines is pretty much unchanged too, expect that there is a new 2.0 dCi 150 turbo diesel which - like the 1.9 dCi 130 - is available with automatic transmission as well as the previous manual. There are various styling alterations and trim improvements to keep the range looking fresh, and Renault has introduced new optional extras including extra tinted windows, a fixed panoramic sunroof, front parking sensors, integral metallic paint (meaning it's on the exterior trim and bumpers as well as the body panels) and new Sleep Safe headrests to keep children protected if they happen to doze off on a journey. There are now 73 Scenics and Grand Scenics, and if you think we're going to list all the prices here you can think again. Fortunately, Renault has retained the previous prices of the Scenic and seven-seat Grand Scenic, so those ranges cost between £13,915 and £21,415 in the former case and between £15,415 and £22,415 in the latter. Prices for the five-seat Grand Scenic range from £15,165 to £22,165. All models are available to order now, and will start appearing in Renault showrooms from the end of September.
